60096 Ben Macdui passes Spetchley shortly before sunset on 4 June 1996 with the 6V18 19:10 Kingsbury to Cardiff Tidal scarp. The up goods loop looks well used, but as can be seen from the bits of rail and loose sleepers on the right, the down loop had just been lifted.
