60099 Ben More Assynt & 60028 run alongside the Kennet & Avon Canal at Bridge 99, near Crofton, on 4 February 2026. This is the 6V23 10:34 Willesden DC Rail Sidings to Merehead Quarry stone empties, which is 60099's first revenue earning working. Previously it had worked a few light engine test runs after its reinstatement by DC Rail Freight. The immaculate locos looks superb in the winter sun, which fortunately was virtually guaranteed, as although there were lots of clouds around, there was an area of clear blue sky to the south.
