King Class 4-6-0 6024 King Edward I passes Water Orton on 12 January 1991 with the Didcot to Derby 'Derby Sovereign' railtour, with Ethel 1 (the former 25310) directly behind the loco, heating the train. Unfortunately the earlier sunshine had been replaced by thick cloud. Although this is well off the former Great Wester Railway network, there is a nod to the loco's home territory in the Scots Pine tree, which was so much a characteristic of most Great Western stations.
