A stranger in Oxfordshire! United States Army Transportation Corps S160 Class 2-8-0 6046 arrives at Chinnor station on 3 May 2026 with the 11:25 service from Princes Risborough. The loco was visiting the Chinnor & Princes Risborough for the 2026 season. It was built at the Baldwin Locomotive Works, Philadelphia, in 1945. Initially it worked in France, before moving to Hungary after the Second World War. After its working life was over it moved to the UK for preservation.
