66551 passes Patney on 20 May 2025 with the 6A18 09:18 Whatley Quarry to Oxford Banbury Road stone train. This is the site of Patney & Chirton station, which closed in 1966. All traces of the station have disappeared, with the notable exception of the footbridge seen in the background of this view. Formerly connecting the station's three platforms, it now stands in splendid isolation, saved from demolition as it carries a public footpath across the line.
