66615 passes Compton Beauchamp on 7 March 2024 with the 6A16 07:44 Whatley Quarry to Oxford Banbury Road stone train. Unfortunately this once excellent photographic location is now totally ruined by the overhead wiring and masts. However, because the masts are only on the south side of the line at this point, there is a reasonable shot from the other side, if there is no sun. As this was forecast to be a completely dull day, I was in position on the other side of the bridge, waiting for this train. Just as it came into view the sun came out (almost the only time it appeared all day!), and so I had to rush across the bridge, to get this properly lit, but untidy picture.
