66621 passes Uffington on 24 April 2021 with the 6B91 12:34 Hayes & Harlington to East Usk Yard stone empties. Although this had left Hayes exactly on time, it was a staggering 91 minutes early here. It was 53 minutes early at Wantage Road, where it went into the loop as booked, but after traversing the entire length of the down relief line, rejoined the mainline at Challow without stopping! This pointless move may have been to do with testing the points, as the relief line had been out of action for some time. I particularly like the composition of this picture, with the curving track through the oilseed rape in the foreground.
