Running nearly four hours early, 66622 passes Uffington on 25 November 2023 with the 6V28 13:06 (10:30 actual) West Drayton Frays Sidings to Whatley Quarry stone empties. Shortly after this the up line just to the west of here at Bourton was closed, and single line working was instigated. This was after local residents had contacted Network Rail about a noise that had been going on all night, and turned out to be a broken rail. The fact that members of the public have to inform Network Rail about a broken rail is extremely worrying!
