66623 leads failed 66547 past Uffington on 28 January 2020 with the retimed 6A15 08:30 Whatley Quarry to Appleford Mendip Rail stone train. As it was a sunny morning, I had checked to see if anything interesting was running, and noticed this had just been activated as a VSTP working. The train normally leaves Whatley at 03:54, so this was a rare chance to photograph this on the Swindon to Didcot line. I was doubly lucky with this picture, as an annoying cloud which was blotting out the sun as the train passed the wood in the background, had just cleared out of the way a couple of seconds earlier, and the 1C11 11:02 Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads EMU was rapidly approaching from the other direction.
