2019 sees Freightliner gaining more traffic at the expense of DB Cargo, with the acquisition of the Mendip area stone traffic. This also includes the trains from the recently reopened Tytherington Quarry. Running 21 minutes early, 66623 passes Didcot North Junction on 9 July 2019 with the 6C48 17:10 Appleford to Tytherington stone empties. At least the immaculate bright orange loco helps to compensate for the miserable weather!
