66721 Harry Beck passes the Grade II listed water tower at Kemble on 20 April 2023 with the diverted 6O01 10:18 Scunthorpe Trent Traffic Centre to Eastleigh East Yard rails. This was running half an hour early, after having missed out its booked stop at Haresfield. This was a definite bonus as far as the lighting angle was concerned. This train would normally travel via Oxford, but the Oxford to Didcot line is closed because of subsidence problems with Nuneham Viaduct over the River Thames.
