66723 Chinook passes Compton Beauchamp in golden evening light on 18 July 2016 with the 6X93 18:28 Portbury Coal Terminal to Dollands Moor, conveying Honda cars for export to Ghent, in Belgium. This is a trial working, running through the summer of 2016. Whilst it is great to see British built Hondas going for export, it does seem a little strange that the train has just passed by the junction for the rail connected Swindon plant, which if used would have saved an awful lot of lorry movements getting the cars to the Bristol area. This train was running six minutes late, which was just enough to result in the track being in shadow. However, the low light still makes an excellent picture of an interesting working.
