66779 Evening Star passes Hinksey Yard at speed on 12 September 2016 with the 5Z15 11:22 Eastleigh to Burton upon Trent Wetmore Sidings ECS. This was the stock that had been used on the mammoth GBRf fifteenth anniversary four day tour of Britain, the highlight of which was undoubtedly the use of 20118 & 20132. 66779 is the final member of the extensive Class 66 fleet, and GBRf very commendably chose to mark this by echoing the livery and name of the final steam locomotive built by British Railways, 9F 2-10-0 92220 Evening Star. The result certainly looks very smart, even in this very poor light.
