66779 Evening Star passes Uffington on 7 March 2021 with the 6G70 08:00 Castle Cary to Hinksey engineer's train, comprising just six wagons, albeit of three different types. This was running 55 minutes early, as is often the case with departmental trains returning from weekend engineering possessions. In this case it was because it missed out its booked stops at both Bristol Parson Street and Swindon Stratton Green. Not only was it sunny further west, but also around this area around its booked time, and for the rest of the day! At least the short train just fits in the gap here.
