66789 British Rail 1948-1997 passes Spetchley on 16 May 2019 with the 6V35 09:44 Clitheroe Castle Cement to Avonmouth cement tanks. This was running just two minutes late, but that was enough for it to miss a short and very unexpected sunny spell. At least it had only just started to go into thin cloud, and there is still a trace of a shadow, unlike the overall gloom of the previous couple of hours! The loco was specifically selected to work this train on this occasion, in order for it to be in the south, so that it could be used at the following weekend's Severn Valley Diesel Gala.
