Not only is the lighting grim, but I nearly got bowled by a HST! 66843 slowly passes Compton Beauchamp on 17 April 2011 with the 6Z78 14:05 Margam to Dollands Moor steel. I saw it appear in the distance underneath the Ashbury Crossing footbridge before I could even hear the HST from behind me. I was just on the point of moving to the other side of the bridge (which isn't quite as good as a viewpoint), when I realised that due to the massive difference in speeds, the HST would just get out of the way in time.
