66850 David Maidment OBE passes the remains of Shrivenham station on 12 June 2014 with the 0Z27 09:03 Cardiff Canton to West Ealing Plasser Sidings. I don't often bother to take pictures of light engines, but as 6M50 was completely blocked out by a HST, and 4L31 passed under a really dark cloud, this will have to serve as a poor substitute. I suppose it does give a clear view of Shrivenham station's long disused platform. The bridge has only a few months to live, to be replaced no doubt by some hideous eyesore as part of the Great Western electrification scheme.
