You get plenty of stone trains here, but not many freightliners! 66952 passes Hungerford Common on 21 September 2018 with the diverted 4L31 09:03 Bristol to Felixstowe North freightliner. This was a definite bonus, as I had gone here purely with the intention of photographing some HSTs, before they all disappear. It was only after I arrived that a problem with an axle counter at Challow started sending trains via the Berks & Hants, instead of via Swindon. This meant twice as many HSTs, as well as this!
