The diversion of a diversion! With the closure of its normal route due to the landslip at Hatfield Colliery in early 2013, the 6E06 07:45 Bredbury to Scunthorpe Roxby Gullet Binliner was booked to take the circuitous route via Gainsborough and Lincoln. However, once at Gainsborough the much more direct route via Brigg is the obvious choice. So, here on 12 March 2013, 66953 passes through Brigg station with the off route 'Bins'. Brigg station only has a Saturday train service, and as can be seen here, nearly half the platform length has been fenced off and left to nature.
