For many years the classic viewpoint of northbound trains approaching the A415 roadbridge at Culham has been ruined by lineside vegetation. However, the impending electrification of the route has resulted in an unprecedented clearance of trackside bushes, opening up the view to early 1980s standards. 66955 passes by the newly cleared site on 11 June 2015 with the 4M98 17:30 Southampton Maritime to Hams Hall freightliner. |
