With not a trace of exhaust due to the warm weather, Castle Class 4-6-0 7029 Clun Castle passes Heyford at speed on 11 June 2022 with the Vintage Trains 1Z29 08:03 Birmingham Snow Hill to Cardiff Central 'Return to Steam Celebration' railtour. Due to cable thefts in the Tyseley area, this was running 31 minutes late. This marks exactly 50 years to the day that Clun Castle worked the Great Western Society's return to steam special, albeit on that occasion the steam hauled part of the tour was in the opposite direction, between Didcot and Tyseley.
