70816 passes through Moreton-in-Marsh station on 11 May 2025 with the 6C97 07:30 Norton Junction to Hinksey, returning from an overnight Cotswold Line track relaying possession. The rare sight of a freight train on the Cotswold Line was made even better by being worked by such an immaculately clean loco! This train was running a few minutes early, which was perfect, as at the booked time there was a possibility of the late running 1W15 07:36 Paddington to Great Malvern GWR service getting in the way in the background.
