For most of the time during the Swanage Railway's 2012 Diesel Gala, 73136 Perseverance was acting as a brake translator for 57312. However, on Sunday 13 May, the Network Rail 57 ran low on fuel, so whilst it was being topped up the ED got a chance of a trip up the line on its own. It is seen here passing through the Wilderness (a wood near Quarr Farm, Harmans Cross) with the 13:45 Norden to Swanage train.
