73951 Malcolm Brinded emerges from the fog at Badgeworth on 13 January 2022 with the 1Z37 07:06 Cardiff Canton Sidings to Derby RTC Network Rail test train. 73952 Janis Kong is bringing up the rear. This was running 39 minutes late, which was extremely fortunate, as at the booked time the Badgeworth area was enveloped in dense fog. I was not impressed with this, having driven 30 miles in clear conditions, only to drive into the fog less than a mile from the bridge! Amazingly, the sun broke through the fog just two minutes before the train appeared.
