Hydrogen fuel cell powered 799201 leaves Long Marston on 21 June 2023 with the 5Z20 08:15 Long Marston to Honeybourne North Junction ECS, in preparation for spending the day shuttling backwards and forwards to the Rail Live event. This was running 12 minutes early, not 1 minute early, as reported by Realtime Trains. Although very backlit, I took this picture to show just how full the sidings have become with brand new stored EMUs. No less than 14 South Western Railways Class 701s can be seen, a class of unit that should have entered service in 2019, but has been beset by both technical and union problems, and still has not carried any passengers.
