8F 2-8-0 8274 passes Toddington's fixed distant signal at Hailes on 26 May 2013 with the 11:55 Cheltenham Racecourse to Toddington freight. During the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway's 'Cotswold Steam Celebration' an intensive service was in operation, using locomotives from all of the 'Big Four' companies, as well as BR. In addition to the normal passengers trains, a few of these demonstration freights were run, with room in the brake van for a few fare paying passengers.
