The first ever run of a Stadler built Class 99 bi-mode locomotive in the UK, albeit being towed by a Class 66. After being unloaded at Avonmouth Docks the previous week, 99002 & 99001 were moved to Leicester on 17 June 2025 behind 66307 Ipswich Town, running as the 0Q66 13:53 Avonmouth Hanson Sidings to Leicester Loco Inspection Point. The historic ensemble is pictured passing Fiddington, running 15 minutes late due to earlier signalling problems near Westerleigh Junction.

99008 leaves Long Marston on 19 June 2026 with the 3Z20 10:33 Long Marston to Scarborough Rail 200 exhibition train. 66710 Karen Harrison is bringing up the rear. The very colourful train had been on display at the two day Rail Live event. 99008 arrived in this country from Spain a month earlier.
