D1944 (47501) Craftsman passes South Marston on 29 June 2018 with the 5Z23 07:35 Crewe Holding Sidings to Bristol Barton Hill ECS, conveying Mk2 coach 3330. Ideally I would have liked to have photographed this in the Oxford area, but the lighting would have been very head on, compounded by the fact that it was running over an hour early. I therefore opted for this Great Western Mainline location. It was held in Hinksey Yard, and was only a few minutes early when it passed me. The five wind turbines of the Westmill Wind Farm can just be seen on the horizon.
