During the early 1990s it seemed that every man and his dog was trying to organize a Class 50 railtour. On 16 May 1992 it was the turn of the Panshanger Rail Group. Their 1Z10 08:00 Aylesbury to Plymouth 'Chiltern Atmospheric 50' is pictured running alongside the Kennet & Avon Canal at Crofton, in the capable hands of D400 & 50007 Sir Edward Elgar. A superb cloudless day, but a stiff breeze causing ripples on the water prevented the hoped for reflection picture.
