The weather was not always kind while I was chasing Class 50s on the West of England line during 1991, and at the start of 1992, with just a few locos left in traffic, even dull days off were used to get a few more last pictures. The weather was atrocious on 7 January 1992, when I photographed D400 passing underneath the Basingstoke Canal aqueduct at Frimley Green with the 2V11 11:00 Waterloo to Exeter St Davids Network SouthEast service.
