A symphony in green! D444 passes North Street on 23 May 2004 with the 10:55 Alresford to Alton service, during the Mid Hants Railway's Diesel Gala. The Class 50s never wore this livery in BR service, as the familiar blue livery had already been adopted as standard by the time the first of the class appeared in 1967. However, in my opinion, it certainly looks smart.
