D8137 approaches Gotherington on 4 October 1997 with the 16:15 service from Toddington. The loco is in sparkling ex-works condition, after a recent repaint into original BR green. It had previously operated trains on the line in the as acquired from BR railfreight livery, and even red oxide primer!
