D8137 approaches Hailes on 7 October 2018 with the 10:15 Toddington to Cheltenham Racecourse service, during the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway's Diesel Gala. Given my unexpected full sun afternoon on the Severn Valley Railway a few days earlier, I shouldn't really have been surprised that on this occasion the sunny morning disappeared as soon as I got to this location!
