D9539 stands in Toddington Yard on 7 August 1993. This loco, along with classmates D9537 & D9553 were the mainstay of the diesel fleet in the early days of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway, but have all since departed to pastures new. D9539 moved to the Ribble Steam Railway in 2005.
