The last Western Region diesel hydraulic to be built, D9555, stands amid sundry other stock at Norchard, on the Dean Forest Railway, on 16 July 2017. D9555 emerged from Swindon Works on 22 October 1965, so bringing to end the short lived hydraulic experiment.
