Although the trackside at this location is still relatively free of vegetation, in the 1980s the roadside hedge was low enough for this picture to be taken from the road. Unfortunately that is no longer possible. The village of Evenlode can be seen in the background, with Manor Farm, and the 13th century church just visible amongst the trees.
