In superb late afternoon light, E6001 accelerates away from the level crossing at Whitecroft (just visible in the background) with the 16:25 Parkend to Lydney service on 26 September 2009, during the Dean Forest Railway's Diesel Gala. Class 14 D9521 can just be seen on the rear of the train. It's a good job there are no more lamp brackets on the front of a Class 73, as I'm sure some wag would create yet another amusing headboard to fit on it!
