08646 shunts a rake of engineer's wagons at Highworth Junction, Swindon, on 24 June 1994. It would later remove the rake of wagons from the siding on the left. This picture was taken on a very unusual film that was introduced by Kodak in 1989. Up until then colour negative films had been very poor quality compared with slide films, with low sharpness and excessive grain. Ektar 25 was launched to solve this problem, but with an ISO of just 25, was not very useful. Although the results were massively better than any other negative film, I only used a few rolls, before reverting back to the more useful transparency film. |
