The Coryton branch is not very photogenic, being mostly dead straight, and surrounded by trees. This is exemplified by this view of 150231 leaving the very basic terminus at Coryton on 8 July 2019 with the 2V23 12:15 Transport for Wales service to Radyr. The line formerly carried on underneath the bridge in the background, and up the Taff Vale to Pontypridd.
