The level crossing barriers at Bramshall start to rise, after the passage of the 15:11 Derby to Crewe Provincial Railways service on 12 August 1989. The unit is actually a Class 150/2 & 150/1 hybrid, with the rear vehicle being one half of 150129. Around this time there were several mixed Class 150 formations, whilst modifications were being made to certain 150/1 vehicles.
