150270 passes Ashchurch on 6 May 1989 with the 2A21 09:03 Worcester to Shrub Hill to Swindon service. At the time the unit was less than two years old, and still in its original Regional Railways livery. Class 155s were also used on these trains at the time, but whereas the 150s stayed in the area for many years, once the 155s were split into single car 153s, they left the area.
