My first sighting of a West Midlands Railway Class 172/0 in the Oxford area. 172004 passes Wolvercote Junction on 26 November 2024 with the 5L50 12:24 Tyseley to Ilford EMU Depot ECS, where it is was heading for maintenance. This was travelling very slowly, as the 1P28 11:57 Great Malvern to Paddington GWR service had just come off the Cotswold Line in front of it.
