172339 & 172216 arrive at the Lakes station on 14 August 2022 with the late running 2S08 11:21 Worcester Foregate Street to Stratford-upon-Avon West Midlands Railway service. The tiny station is immaculate, with wooden tubs of Pelargoniums brightening up the platforms. The station was opened by the Great Western Railway (as the Lakes Halt) in 1935, to serve the nearby popular tourist destination of Earlswood Lakes.
