The 5M82 09:14 Bristol Barton Hill to Wembley stock move passes Islip in a light rain shower on 21 September 2024, with Chiltern Railways DVT 82304 sandwiched between 20007 & 20205. I had chosen this location at the end of Islip station's up platform, so that I could swing round and get a picture of 20205 bringing up the rear. Unfortunately the 1T21 10:07 Marylebone to Oxford Chiltern Railways DMU was unusually running five minutes late, and as I turned round it was rushing through the station, completely blocking the view. I suppose I am lucky that I got this picture, as the unit must have been right by my side, and within a second of blocking out this picture as well!
