37800 Cassiopeia passes Stoke Orchard on 3 April 2025 with the 5Q76 11:06 Crewe South Yard to Newport Docks (Sims Group). Previously this loco has taken a number of Class 319 EMUs for scrapping, but this is a little different, as this unit (319373) had been converted into a parcels unit in a failed attempt by Orion High Speed Logistics to find a new use for the class. All the seats were removed and the unit given a stylish repaint, all of which was a waste of time and money, as here it is being hauled away to be scrapped. I had deliberately chosen this location, as although the lighting is rather head on, I knew that the abundant lineside blackthorn bushes would be in full bloom.
