37883 passes Goole on 13 March 1999 with the usual single tank wagon on the 6D99 07:20 Hull Saltend to Immingham. This broadside view of the line is no longer possible, as not only have trees grown up in the foreground, but an industrial estate now occupies the wasteland between the new fence and the railway. Surprisingly, the gas holder is still in situ (in 2022), a rare sight nowadays.
