Having dropped ballast in a nearby Sunday engineering possession, 47247 passes Severn Tunnel Junction on 30 June 1985 with a rake of vacuum braked ballast hoppers. Obviously the work didn't require the full load, as the two Sealion wagons near the rear of the train are still loaded with ballast.
