47299 passes Micklefield on 12 May 1990 with westbound oil tanks. Introduced (as D1866) in May 1965, the loco was later given the TOPS number 47216. However, after an accident, a so called clairvoyant stated that if it retained the number 47216 it would be involved in further accidents. Rather than ignore this nonsense, the loco was renumbered 47299!
