47418 approaches Oxford on 23 July 1989 with the 1M48 08:10 Paddington to Manchester Piccadilly service. Five coaches doesn't seem a lot for an inter-regional train, but probably sufficient for a Sunday morning! 47418 was withdrawn the following year after a minor derailment.
