Viewed from high above Middlehill Tunnel, 47476 heads towards Bath on 28 July 1988 with the 4V04 12:30 Calvert to Bristol Avon Binliner empties. This is a location that I should have visited more often, and also in better weather! However, the dull conditions did allow this wider view from the north side of the line, which clearly shows the village of Box in the background. The entrance to the world famous Box Tunnel can be seen on the left.
